You need to define the SYBASE env. variable, and have it point at the root
directory of your Sybase installation.
The easiest way to set all the env. variables is to source the SYBASE.sh
file that is in the root directory for the Sybase install.

Subject: make test with sybperl-2.18
Hi,
SLES 64-bit building a client to connect to 11.9.2 ASE.
I have installed OCS-15_0. The sybperl-2.18 configured and make went ok.
However make test 1st told me that /home/sybase/config/objectid.dat didn't
exist. So, I made a directroy called config and touch objectid.dat with
nothing in it. Now, it wants a locales directory with locales.dat. I
created an empty file called locales.dat and now it wants me to define
LANG.
How much longer will this go on?
Can I get the real locales.dat or objectid.dat file somewhere?
Thanks AGAIN,
~DjK
