You're right, I tried again with the entry:
TEST_LN
master tcp ether ftdevdb1.london.kbcfp.com 1400
query tcp ether ftdevdb1.london.kbcfp.com 1400
and the tests worked. So why is it that sybperl's tests were
sensitive to this difference while isql and sqsh are not?
Doesn't ctlib also use the interfaces file?
