Subject: FIXED! 2.14 install failure on HP-UX 11
Date: Apr 23 2002 8:07PM

Sure enough, the linker option was the problem. After changing '-a shared'
to '-a shared_archive' in each individual Makefile, things compile
properly. Now I've got the _DINFINITY problem to deal with on one of the
HP-UX boxes, but that appears to be fixed the other HP-UX box that has the
perl binary with correct libm linked in. I believe installing an updated
perl binary will fix that problem.
Thanks to all for your help.

I guess that's a bug with the Perl configuration on the system (and
possibly a bug with the default flags used by perl on that platform...)
