Subject: 32K limit from DBlib?

I'm pulling a string of length about 80kb out of
a text column using Sybase::DBlib, and only getting
32kb (exactly 32768) of it.  Is this an intrinsic
limitation of DBlib?  Is it related somehow to the
text datatype?  Is there anything I can do here?
