I haven't built perl on Windows, but could this be because Microsoft nmake is
incompatible - perhaps you have to use gnu make?

I am getting error while trying to run the make for Sybperl. Makefile.pl
executed fine and didnot had any errors. The error looks like this:
C:\TEMP\sybperl\sybperl-2.14>nmake
Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 6.00.8168.0
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1988-1998. All rights reserved.
makefile(737) : fatal error U1001: syntax error : illegal character ',' in
macro
Stop.
Any idea's as what could be wrong??
Thanks
