Subject: Sybase Open Client 12.5 and Sybperl
Date: Sep 13 2001 8:22PM
The SA said that he build perl and sybperl fine. I am running a script that
calls the following packages:
$ENV{LANG}="C";
use English;
use Sybase::CTlib;
use Getopt::Std;
use POSIX qw(uname);
use Date::Calc;
use Net::FTP;
We get the following error:
ld.so.1: /usr/bin/perl: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.7.2/sun4-solaris/auto/Sybase/CTlib/CTlib.so:
symbol cs_ctx_alloc: referenced symbol not found
Killed
Perl version installed:
->perl -v
This is perl, v5.7.2 built for sun4-solaris

this system using `man perl' or `perldoc perl'. If you have access
to the
Internet, point your browser at http://www.perl.com/, the Perl Home
Page.
Sybperl is suppose to be 2.13_06:
Can't even check the version of Sybperl:
perl -MSybase::CTlib -e 'print "$Sybase::CTlib::Version\n";'
ld.so.1: perl: fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.7.2/sun4-solaris/auto/Sybase/CTlib/CTlib.so:
symbol cs_ctx_alloc: referenced symbol not found
Killed
Any Ideas:
Ruth
