Subject: returning and forgot everything about MSSQL

Hello all. It is good to be using sybperl again. I recall eons ago
(actually, just about 6 months ago) that I was using Sybase::DBlib to
access a MSSQL server (a 6 something version). Now I am trying to use the
same to access MSSQL 7. However, I am having trouble. So, let me run
this by you:
1) I recall some discussion about whether sybperl would interface MSSQL7.
Does it still work?
My interface file looks like this:
ISOFT
master tcp ether ohio 1744
query tcp ether ohio 1744
where ohio is listed as 192.168.1.74 in the /etc/hosts file
I seem to recall that 1744 was the proper port.
If this is documented, please direct me to the proper source!
thanks!!!
