There is no client library for linux/sparc. Your options are either to
install Solaris 2.x and buy the client libs from Sybase, or to get
FreeTDS (http://www.freetds.org) which is a free re-implementation of
OpenClient. FreeTDS is pretty decent, although it's not complete yet.
