You need to read the sybperl manual, as well as the Sybase OpenCLient
manuals. 

You need to use ct_sql() to execute and fetch all results, whereas
ct_execute is a shorthand for ct_command()/ct_send().

So to "use" a database:

$dbh->ct_sql("use serail");
