can u further explain? i have add this line on my .cshrc

set 
SYBASE="/export/home/sybase/openclient"
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /export/home/sybase/openclient/lib

however, the compiler still complain about the ctpublic.h. i m using
perl
5.004_04, gcc 2.8.1 on a solaris 2.6.
