Sybase recommends that you use Client Library (upon which CTLib is based) --
they're putting their development effort there.

However, there are some features of Client Library that Michael has not yet
put into CTLib. If you need something that's in DBLib but not CTlib (such
as polling), use DBlib -- it is still supported. It's just not being
improved (by Sybase, at least).

Subject: Module Question

Hi there,

I'm new to Perl and SybPerl. Seems there's a lot of that going around on
this list today.

Anyway, I was wondering, is it best to use DBLib or CTLib? Does it matter
or does it depend on what you want to accomplish?

Thanks.
