Subject: BCP rows sent?
Date: Apr 30 1999 8:38PM

I think I posted something about this a few weeks back. How do I get the
number of rows BCP'd? The man page says that BCP::run returns the number of
rows sent but mine doesn't....I always get '1' back. Is there something
equivalent to DBCOUNT for BCP?

    $bcph = new Sybase::BCP $DB_USER, $DB_PWD, $SERVER;
    $bcph -> Sybase::BCP::config(
               INPUT => $bcpfile,
               OUTPUT => "scratch_db..wk_mtg_map",
               DIRECTION => 'IN',
               SEPARATOR => '|',
               ERRORS => "bcperr.$account",
             );

    # And BCP it in. Check the number of rows sent.

    $bcp_rows_sent = $bcph->Sybase::BCP::run;
