I don't know much about SGI Irix, but it seems that the Sybase
libraries that you have are for one type of architecture, and perl is
built in another architecture (ie -32 or -n32 or -o32 or whatever the
switches are).

Contact Sybase to get an updated version of OpenClient, or rebuild
perl with the same architecture as the Sybase libraries.
