Subject: 'make test' errors when building sybperl 2.10 on Linux
Date: Mar 4 1999 2:33AM

I'm stumped...Please help.

Here is my config:
*Redhat 5.2/Linux 2.0.36

*Perl 5.005_02
extra libs= -lnsl -lgdbm -ldl -lm -lc -lposix -lcrypt

*Open Client 10.0.3 elf libraries

*Sybperl 2.10 CONFIG
DBLIBVS=0
CTLIBVS=100
SYBASE=/opt/sybase
EXTRA_LIBS=-linsck
EXTRA_DEFS=-DDO_TIE
LINKTYPE=static

When I do a 'make test' I get the following:

make[1]: Entering directory `/root/tmp/sybperl/sybperl-2.10/CTlib'
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 ./../perl -I../blib/arch -I../blib/lib
-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.00502/i686-linux -I/usr/lib/perl5/5.00502 -e 'use
Test::Harness qw(&runtests $verbose); $verbose=0; runtests @ARGV;' t/*.t
t/ctlib.............dubious
        Test returned status 0 (wstat 139, 0x8b)
        test program seems to have generated a core
t/cursor............dubious
        Test returned status 0 (wstat 139, 0x8b)
        test program seems to have generated a core
FAILED--2 test scripts could be run, alas--no output ever seen
make[1]: *** [test_static] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tmp/sybperl/sybperl-2.10/CTlib'
make: *** [test] Error 2

Thanks,
Jesse
