There is a DBI module for ASA, and you can also use DBD::ODBC.
You can use sybperl if you have the Sybase OpenClient package on the
linux side, and if your ASA supports the TDS protocol. I'm not 100%
familiar with ASA, so I can't tell you exactly what you need to do to
get it to work right.
