This is really a mod_perl error.

My guess is that the version of perl that is in the mod_perl portion
of your Apache server is not the same as the one used to build
sybperl. So the sybperl DBlib.so shared object refers to symbols that
are not in the mod_perl/httpd binary, and fails to load. Please check
with your SysAdmin to see what version of perl was used to build
mod_perl, and what version of perl is installed on your system for
general use.
