I'm new to CTlib processing, so I could be wrong.
Looks like full async will be a problem. The manual says it uses
threads and/or signals to handle flow control. God knows what'll
happen to Perl if Sybase takes over its signal handler. I haven't
really used the new multithreaded perl; maybe SybPerl 2.11 can require
it. :-)
The deferred async stuff looks promising, though. I'm gonna hack
away. If I get anything good, I'll send you the patches.
