Yes.

However there is a caveat: perl's Configure adds -ldb to perl's list
of libraries that it needs. This causes Syabse::DBlib to fail, because 
libdb (berkeley DB) has a function called 'dbopen'. The solution is to 
rebuild perl and explicitly remove -ldb from the extra_libs line.
This does not preclude DB_File from working.
