Subject: dirty symbol
Date: Jun 26 1998 7:05PM

My Solaris Administrator just built a completely new Perl distribution (
5.004_04 ), including the Sybperl package. I am getting the following error
when I try to run a Perl/Sybperl script. Note, I'm fully aware of how the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH needs to be set because it was set correctly for the last
distribution, and I have doubled checked it just to be sure. Have any idea
what the symbol "dirty" is all about.

Can't load
'/usr/local/perl5-00404/lib/site_perl/sun4-solaris/auto/Sybase/CTlib/CTlib.s
o' for module Sybase::CTlib: ld.so.1: /usr/local/perl5-00404/bin/perl:
fatal: relocation error: file
/usr/local/perl5-00404/lib/site_perl/sun4-solaris/auto/Sybase/CTlib/CTlib.so
: symbol dirty: referenced symbol not found at
/usr/local/perl5-00404/lib/sun4-solaris/5.00404/DynaLoader.pm line 166.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks... Todd
