There is a bug in default database usage with 188.8.131.52 with bcp - the default database doesnt get picked up properly. I havent tried sybperl, but have hit the problem with bcp where the database name is not fully qualified, ie you try to do 'bcp mytable' rather than 'bcp mydb..mytable'
This could be related.

Subject: Sybperl bcp_init didn't work !!!
Recently I'm trying to migrate our SQL Server to version
184.108.40.206 from 11.0.3 but found that the Sybperl bcp_init
command failed with the newer version. Here I would like to
see if any of you had the following software combination that
- HPUX 10.20
- Sybase SQL Server 220.127.116.11
- Sybperl 2.09.04
- Perl 5.004.04
Note that the same bcp_init call worked perfectly fine with the
11.0.3 version so I'm thinking of the version compatibility
issue. All comments are welcome.
Thanks in advance.
