Subject: Syperl2.09_03 Solaris - make fails
Date: Mar 23 1998 1:33PM

I just tried to install Sybperl2.09_03 on Solaris 2.5.1:

Unfortunately, make fails:

cp .././blib/lib/Sybase/
AutoSplitting Sybase::CTlib (.././blib/lib/auto/Sybase/CTlib)
/bin/perl -I/opt/perl/lib/sun4-solaris/5.00404 -I/opt/perl/lib

/opt/perl/lib/ExtUtils/typemap CTlib.xs > && mv CTlib.c

-DCTLIBVS=100 -DSYBPLVER='"2.09_03"' -DDO_TIE CTlib.c

"CTlib.c", line 5491: cannot recover from previous errors
cc: acomp failed for CTlib.c

(i am using the standard SUNWspro c compiler)

Characteristics of this binary (from libperl):
  Built under solaris

Nothing special in /usr/local/lib

I did not change CONFIG (Sybase 10.0.3 Client)

    Any clues (up to now it always worked for me) ....
