Subject: Error installing Sybperl 2.09 with Perl5.004 and SYB OC 10.04

I have successfully installed the NT binary version of Perl 5.00402
(Gurusamy Sarathy's copy).  Now I want to compile the Sybperl 2.09 modules
that I downloaded from the CPAN site.  I have the Visual C++ 4.0 compiler
and the Sybase 10.04 Open Client Libs.

I've unpacked the Sybperl distribution, edited the config file, and ran
"perl makefile.pl" which is successful.  When I try to run dmake, I get an
ERROR message " dmake.exe: makefile:  line 706 Error-expecting macro or rule
defn, found neither".  Where is the problem??
