Cool script.

But you can't really mix this with text, can you? (ie have an
 tag where the source is this script instead of being a file)

binmode() is only for Win32 systems where there automatic conversion 
from CR/LF to LF... It's a no-op under Unix.

You can also use

$dbh->dbsetopt(DBTEXTSIZE, $TEXTSIZE);
