Subject: Where are the library files for Sybase 4.9.2
Date: Sep 24 1997 7:26PM

     When I run Makefile.PL, I get the following

     Writing Makefile for Sybase::BCP
     Note (probably harmless): No library found for -lsybdb
     Note (probably harmless): No library found for -ltli
     Writing Makefile for Sybase::DBlib
     Writing Makefile for Sybase::Sybperl
     Writing Makefile for Sybase

     I am new to SYBPERL and have only been working with Sybase & SQL for a
     year and a half. I inherited the system from the guy who had my
     position before me, I didn't install sybase. As a result, I am unable
     to find certain files. In particular the DBlib files, or any lib files
     for that matter. I do not have a /home/sybase/lib or a
     /home/sybase/include directory. Any suggestions where these might be,
     or where I might get them?

     SYSTEM CONFIGURATION:SUN SPARC 10, Sun OS 5.5.1, Sybase 4.9.2
     (we will be upgrading to 11 in a few months)
