That's usually from sp_rename, as in:
     
kiruna (6:20am):2 > isql -Usa
Password: 
1> use tempdb
2> go
1> create table foo (f char(5))
2> go
1> sp_rename foo, bar
2> go
Object name has been changed.
(return status = 0)
1> drop table bar
2> go
1>
