is this possible ?  from looking around on various perl sites, i know
it must be possible as mod_perl allows you call routines inside the 
apache web server (and that is written in C).

there is also perlcall - which describes perl calling from C but doesnt
mention how to get _to_ C.

anyone know about this or where i can be properly referred to find out
if this is doable ??
