Subject: Cant call method error
Date: Dec 12 1997 3:31PM

Hi,

This is probably very easy but I can't figure it out. I get the
following error message.....

Hello World
Can't call method "dbcmd" without a package pr object reference at test.pl
line 8.

>From the program below.....

require 'sybperl.pl';
use Sybase::DBlib;
$ENV{'SYBASE'} = "C:\SYBASE";
print ("Hello World\n");
#$db = &dblogin("sa", "xxxxxx","j1xrvs86a");

$dbh = new Sybase::DBlib 'sa','xxxxxx','j1xsds63a','test_app';
$dbh->dbcmd('select @@servername');
$dbh->dbsqlexec;
$dbh->dbresults;
while(@data = $dbh->dbnextrow()) {
   for(@data) {print $_;}
   print "\n";
}
&dbclose($dbh);

I'm running on NT and perl5 seems to work OK.

TIA
