Thank you everyone that replied to my plea for help.

And, for anyone that doesn't know this:

Gabriel Lawrence, Bill Cannon:
The interface file for SunOS and Solaris are different.
You can generate a proper interface file using the sybinstall utility...

Tao Song:
Use ~sybase/bin/sybtli to convert the interface file from SunOS format to
Solaris format.
