Subject: Install Question

I received a tar file of statically compiled Sybperl, and I tried to do a "make
install". Unfortunately, the make tried to compile, and this hosed me up as I
didn't have the .o file for the Solaris version of Sybase because our Sybase
stuff is on SunOS.
Any suggestions?
