Subject: Re[2]: Sybperl 2.0 Installation Problems.
Date: Dec 11 1995 8:25PM

Thanks to everyone who responded to my plea for help.

As more then one person noted; the Sybase.xs file was empty, leading
to an empty Sybase.c file and consequently to a corrupt Sybase.o file.

I have since tried downloading the entire Sybperl again, but no matter
what I do Sybase.xs is always empty.

     What am I doing wrong?

Is the Sybase.xs file supposed to come with the installation, or does
it get generated by the "perl Makefile.PL" command?
Am I supposed to have the Open Client Libraries on this machine (I
     don't)?

Again All help is welcome. But if you have Sybperl running on AIX
     3.2.5
I would appreciate hearing from you.
     Thanks
     Ari
